Scientists find that plant extracts can be made into male oral contraceptives

- Jan 25, 2018 -

According to foreign media reports, scientists recently found that a kind of extracts called Uben can reduce the vitality of sperm, or will be used as raw materials for male oral contraceptives.

The glycoside can be extracted from the stems, roots, leaves or seeds of the spear-wood genus false Tiger spines and the claw-tipped, and the East African tribe uses its healing arrows to cause a heart-stopping toxin. According to the latest research, the glycoside can block sodium ions and calcium ions through a membrane protein called na,k-atpases. Scientists call it the key material for male oral contraceptives.

But the drug is bad for the heart and cannot be taken alone.
